Splash Pad

THE SPLASH PAD WILL BE OPEN FOR THE SEASON ON FRIDAY, MAY 22nd.

The Splash Pad is located inside Heritage Park on Farmington Road between 10 & 11 Mile. It is a series of fountains and sprayers that is fun for kids of all ages, and is FREE to the public. Plan a picnic or stop by after a swim lesson! And explore the Nature Discovery Trail, which connects the Splash Pad to the Nature Center.

Park Hours: 8:00 AM – Dusk
The splash pad closes periodically for 10 minute intervals during operation hours for routine maintenance.

 

Summer 2026 Inclement Weather Policy:  

·         In the instance the air temperature is not expected to reach 70° Fahrenheit, the Heritage Park Splash Pad will not open. 

·         Inclement weather such as high winds or storms acts as additional determining factors of whether or not the Heritage Park Splash          Pad will open. 

·         Contact Hawk Guest Services at (248) 699-6700 for further inquiries, or to verify the Heritage Park Splash Pad is open.
