November 3, 2026 – State General Election

2026 Application for Absent Voter Ballot

Important Dates to Remember for the November Election:

Thursday, September 24th – Absent Voter ballots will be available in-person at the City Clerk’s Office. 

Thursday, September 24th & 25th until 6pm - Clerk's Office open for election related business.

Monday, September 28th First mailing of Absent Voter ballots to voters who have already submitted an application or are on the Permanent Ballot List.

Monday, October 19th - Last day to register to vote in any matter other than in-person at your local Clerk’s Office.

Tuesday, October 20th through Tuesday, November 3rd until 8:00pm - A person may register to vote in-person at their local Clerk’s Office with proof of residency.

Saturday, October 24th through Sunday, November 1st - Early In-Person Voting available at the Costick Activities Center, 28600 Eleven Mile Rd, from 8:30am-4:30pm, except Thursday, October 29th when hours are Noon-8:00pm.

Thursday, October 29th until 8:00pm - Clerk's Office open for election related business.

Friday, October 30th 5:00pm - Deadline for voters to request an absent voter ballot to be mailed via first class mail.

Saturday, October 31st 8:30am - 4:30pm - Clerk's Office open for election related business.

Monday, November 2nd 4:00pm - Deadline for registered voters to request an absent voter ballot in-person at the City Clerk’s Office.

Tuesday, November 3rd until 8:00pm - A person registering to vote in-person at the City Clerk’s Office may obtain and vote an absent voter ballot with proof of residency or vote in-person at their assigned polling location.  

Tuesday, November 3rd - Election Day - Polls are open 7:00am through 8:00pm. All voters in line at 8pm will be able to vote.

AV Ballots must be returned to the Clerk's Office by 8pm on Election Day
