Farmington Area FiberCity

In the fall of 2023, construction began for the Farmington Area FiberCity Project—an agreement between the Cities of Farmington Hills and Farmington, along with SiFi Networks. This project aims to build an all-fiber, open-access network throughout both cities.

The open-access network will enable homes and businesses to connect to ultra-fast internet. Best of all, this new infrastructure can be accessed by multiple service providers, giving residents and businesses more choices for internet services.

This project comes at absolutely no cost to taxpayers, thanks to SiFi’s investment of approximately $70 million. This investment will bring ultra high-speed broadband to every corner of Farmington Hills.
