Art Studios

The Hawk Art Studios are home to an array of classes, workshops, and summer camps geared towards youth and adults looking to explore their creativity or build upon their already established talent. Located on Floor 2.5 of The Hawk, you may take the stairs from the main lobby or use the elevator near the Blackbox Theatre to access the studios.

We pride ourselves on offering class sizes that are welcoming and accommodating to anyone, regardless of whether you’re a beginner or have been taking classes with us for years. Classes are structured in a way to support repeat participation.

2D Art Studio
The 2D Art Studio features an ample space with extraordinary natural light. Our roster of classes includes a regular rotation of student favorites such as Acrylic, Watercolor, Drawing, and others for adults as well as Mixed Media, You & Me Tot Art, and Little DaVincis for youth. Specialty workshops are also offered throughout the year.

3D Art Studio
Our 3D Art Studio, also known as the Ceramics Studio, is home to all things clay, with three kilns and 10 pottery wheels! We’d love to help you build your skills while supporting you in search for your personal style. Hand Building and Wheel Throwing are our most popular classes with multiple class times available. Our youth and teen classes and monthly themed workshops are a hit with participants ages 5-17.

Open Studio
Open Studio is an ala carte option offered to most* adult classes that are 6 weeks in length. For a small, nominal fee, registering for Open Studio while also registered for your class grants you additional access hours to continue working on your art.
*Due to limited summer schedule availability, open studio is not offered with later spring and summer classes.
